Gabriel Burchman

Gabriel Burchman is an innovative artist known for his rich, earthen colors layered over gold and silver leaf, creating a signature warmth and luminous, antique effect.

Born into a family of artists in California, Gabriel was surrounded by creativity from an early age. Both his parents and grandparents were successful artists, shaping his artistic foundation. He earned a Fine Art degree from the University of Santa Cruz in 1997 and has been painting professionally since 2003. Though he experimented with various styles, it was the gold leaf technique—passed down from his mother—that truly captured his passion.

Growing up in Laguna Beach, Gabriel Burchman was deeply influenced by the ocean and surrounding mountains. His fascination with nature, particularly waves, is evident in his work, allowing viewers to experience the serenity and movement of the sea through his eyes.
