The editions are Certified Art Giclée’s™. This special series is printed with water based archival pigment inks on 100% cotton canvas and are of the highest caliber.  The durability of a Certified Art Giclée is a minimum of 100 years, which attains the archival standard set by the ‘Fine Art Trade Guild’. The prints are made by a master printer in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. 

Each high quality print is created with waterproof archival pigment inks and on acid-free and OBA-free materials. The prints have an unprecedented level of detail, and once Robert Bissell approves, a satin top coating is added to protect the surface and give more depth to the artwork. All prints are signed and numbered by the artist.

Robert Bissell Biography

Artist Robert Bissell grew up on a farm in Somerset, England, where animals, Celtic legends and panoramic landscapes were part of his daily life. Robert's keen interest in visuals began at an early age, documenting life through his photography practice.

Robert Bissell studied at the Manchester Art College and the Royal College of Art in London.  Mr. Bissell then spent four years traveling the world, working on cruise ships to pay his way. For the next 15 years he worked as an advertising photographer and creative director in San Francisco. After burning out in the advertising business Robert began to paint for himself, exploring the local landscape and introducing animals into allegorical interpretations of his imagined narratives.  Robert Bissell regularly exhibits in museums and galleries across the United States and Europe.  Lahaina Galleries carries Robert Bissell's originals, limited-edition canvas prints and sculptures.
